OpenAI may go bankrupt
OpenAI, the maker of artificial intelligence (AI) or artificial intelligence ChatGPT, may go bankrupt within the next year. Recently, this information came out in a report of Analytics India Magazine (AIM). News NDTV.
OpenAI reportedly costs around $7 million per day to run just one AI service—ChatGPT. Despite efforts to monetize GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, the company has yet to generate enough revenue for them.
ChatGPT was launched in November last year. Within a short period of time, the number of users of this app increased rapidly, which is the first time in history. But after a record-breaking influx of users in their early stages, its user base has been slowly dwindling in recent months.
According to SimilarWeb, ChatGPT's user base dropped further in late July. In July this year, its number of users decreased by 12 percent compared to June. Earlier, the number of ChatGPT users was 1.7 billion, which has decreased to 1.5 billion.
